 The art-celebrating, good-eating, field dancing homecoming music festival is coming to High Rocks. A combination High Rocks reunion and music festival, join us for a family friendly festival that features local West Virginia crafts and foods, the curiosity-generating Nettle/local food cook-off, High Rocks girl artwork displays and sales, a silent auction, pony rides, games, face painting and more!
If you are interested in participating in the cook-off, bring a dish and $5 of your entry fee will be entered into the competition. (1st prize wins half the cook-off entry fees). For additional cook-off information, contact Corey at corey@highrocks.org.
Schedule of Events:
11:00am - Song School 101 students perform,
12:15pm - Appalachian Annie,
12:30-2:30pm - NettleFest dinner ($8),
1:15pm - Judith Avers,
2:15pm - Dueling Fiddlers,
3:00pm - Nettle Cook-Off Judging,
3:30pm - Black Mountain Bluegrass Boys,
4:30pm - Nettle Cook-Off Results.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. (Kids under 10 get in free!)
